Recently, a signing ceremony was held for the project of a 22,000-tonne-per-year ultra-high-power graphite electrode and joint production line and the high-carbon materials project.
According to the agreement, Shanghai Jiazhihua Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd. will acquire the assets of Sinosteel Corporation Sichuan Carbon Co.,Ltd. and proceed with the implementation of the 22,000-tonne-per-year ultra-high-power graphite electrode and joint production line project and the high-carbon materials project. The total planned investment is Yuan 500 million.

An investment of Yuan 150 million to acquire the 22,000-tonne-per-year ultra-high-power graphite electrode and connector production line project and to carry out environmental protection and energy-saving upgrades;

An investment of Yuan 250 million to construct the high-end carbon materials project, primarily for producing graphitized cathodes for aluminum electrolysis, specialty graphite, and other related products;

An investment of Yuan 100 million mainly to establish a carbon materials research and technology center along with a pilot-scale testing base.
Upon project completion and commissioning, the annual output value is expected to exceed Yuan 150 million, creating approximately 200 job opportunities.
