MYSTEEL: China's CR stainless output to rise 7% in '26

China's cold-rolled (CR) stainless steel sector is set for further expansion in the coming year, driven by strategic capacity increases.

According to Mysteel's latest survey of 41 domestic stainless steel re-rollers, total domestic CR stainless production is projected to reach 18.08 million tonnes in 2026, marking a year-on-year increase of 1.1 million tonnes or 6.5%.
