FLASH: Indonesian coal miners halt spot exports over gov't quota cut uncertainty

Coal miners in Indonesia have halted spot exports of the fossil fuel after the Indonesian government proposed deep production cuts last month, according to a report by Chinese financial news agency CLS on Tuesday, citing mining officials as saying.
Officials reported that while long-term contracts continue to be honoured, no spot cargoes are being offered amid the policy impasse on quotas.   Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has slashed the production quotas - also known as RKAB - for 2026 by 40-70% from 2025 levels as part of the country's plan to boost
