Taiwan CSC's major steel list prices rise further for March sales

China Steel Corp (CSC), Taiwan's largest steel mill headquartered in South Taiwan's Kaohsiung, has decided to raise the list prices of its major steel products by another TWD 500/tonne ($15.8/t) for local sales in March in response to higher production costs and firm steel prices in the global market, according to the company's latest release published on its website.

For local sales in February, CSC had lifted the list prices of key steel products such as hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils by TWD 300/t, as Mysteel Global reported. The global economy is expected to remain resilient for the foreseeable future, supported by a gradual recovery in manufacturing demand, CSC said.
