Recently, Jiangxi Yiyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. officially held a commissioning ceremony for its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material production line in Yichun City, marking the company's official entry into a new phase of large-scale, intelligent manufacturing.
Established in 2022 and located in the Yuanzhou Industrial Park of Yichun City, Jiangxi Yiyuan is a subsidiary of Geely Technology Group, which is part of the Fortune Global 500 conglomerate Geely Holding Group. The company focuses on the R&D and production of LFP cathode materials, as well as the comprehensive utilization of battery recycling. With a total investment of Yuan 2.5 billion, the project is planned to achieve an annual production capacity of 30,000 tonnes of LFP, 30,000 tonnes of iron phosphate precursor, and 40,000 tonnes of products from the comprehensive utilization of battery recycling.
