According to information released by the Lanzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology on March 2, the commissioning ceremony for Phase I of the annual 100,000-tonne lithium-ion battery cathode material production project by Gansu Jinlin Lithium Battery New Material Co., Ltd. was recently held in Lanzhou New Area.
It is reported that the project covers a total area of 363 mu (approximately 59.5 acres) with a total investment of Yuan 3.135 billion. The project is being constructed in two phases, each with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes. Construction on the Phase I production line, designed to produce 100,000 tonnes of LFP annually, began in April 2024 and officially commenced production after over a year of construction. The Phase II production line, also with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes of LFP, is scheduled to begin construction in March 2026.
