Data released by the Customs of Chile shows that in February 2026, the country's total lithium carbonate exports reached 26,852 tonnes, representing a month-on-month increase of 17.29% and a year-on-year surge of 84.40%. In detail, exports to China totaled 22,381 tonnes, up 32.04% MoM and 85.89% YoY; Exports to South Korea amounted to 2,246 tonnes, down 33.13% month-on-month but flat year-on-year; And exports to Japan reached 1,020 tonnes, increasing by 67.21% MoM and 248.12% YoY.
