Based on information from the Hubei Province Investment Project Online Approval and Supervision Platform, Cornex New Energy has recently completed the filing for two major lithium battery projects, including the Yichang Cornex New-Generation High-End Lithium Battery Intelligent Manufacturing Project and the Xiaogan Cornex New-Generation High-End Lithium Battery Intelligent Manufacturing Project. Both project filing certificates are currently valid.
The Yichang project plans an annual production capacity of 100 GWh of power and energy storage batteries, covering approximately 1,468 mu of land. It will involve the construction of production workshops for cells, PACK, energy storage, and power systems, and will add new production lines for drone batteries, robot batteries, as well as solid-state and semi-solid-state batteries. The project is scheduled to commence in February 2027.
The Xiaogan project plans an annual production capacity of 100 GWh of power and energy storage batteries, covering approximately 2,348 mu of land. It will involve the construction of production workshops for cells, PACK, energy storage, and power systems, and will add new production lines for drone batteries, robot batteries, as well as semi-solid-state and solid-state batteries. The project is scheduled to commence in May 2026.
