As of March 5, 14 major automakers have released their electric vehicle sales data in February 2026, according to incomplete statistics from Mysteel. Among them, BYD, Geely Auto, and SAIC Motor ranked in the top three in monthly sales, with sales volumes reaching 190,200 units, 117,500 units, and 71,300 units respectively.
On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, seven automakers achieved sales growth, with NIO recording the largest increase of 57.65%.
On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, only one automaker, Changan Auto, achieved sales growth. The detail is as follow:
