According to Mysteel statistics, as of June 3, 14 automakers have released their electric vehicle (EV) sales data for May 2026. Among them, BYD, SAIC Motor, and Geely Auto ranked as the top three in monthly sales, with sales volumes of 383,500, 182,500, and 133,400 units, respectively.
On a month-on-month basis, 11 automakers achieved growth, with Changan Auto recording the largest increase. On a year-on-year basis, 8 automakers posted growth, among which Leapmotor saw the largest sales increase of 80.99%.
