CNY holiday drives down Mongolian coal exports to China in Feb

Mongolia's exports of coal for all uses to China - the sole destination for its outbound coal cargoes - slumped 37.3% on month to 6.35 million tonnes in February, Mysteel Global calculated based on data from Mongolia's Customs General Administration (CGA). The suspended transport and trading on the borders due to the extended Chinese New Year (CNY) holiday mainly contributed to the decline.
