Sweden's iron ore exports rise 10% in 2025

Sweden's iron ore exports totaled 21.99 million tonnes in 2025, marking a notable rise of 10.2% from the previous year, according to data from Eurostat.

About 80% of the total exports, or 17.52 million tonnes, were pellets, with the volume rising by 9.3% from the previous year, while the remaining 20% were fines, whose volume was also 13.9% higher on year at 4.47 million tonnes, the official data show. The increase in Sweden's iron ore
