On March 13, Yongtai Technology announced that its subsidiary, Shaowu Yongtai High-Tech Materials Co., Ltd., plans to invest Yuan 550 million in the technological transformation and expansion of its existing production capacity to achieve an annual output of 50,000 tonnes of LiPF6, and Yuan 270 million in the construction of a new annual 5,000-tonne lithium supplementing agent project. The total estimated investment amounts to Yuan 820 million.
The project will involve the technological transformation and expansion of the existing annual production line of approximately 18,000 tonnes of LiPF6. Upon completion, it is expected to form an annual production capacity of 50,000 tonnes of LiPF6 (solid salt). The construction period for the project is estimated to be from March 2026 to December 2027, and the funds will be raised through self-financing.
