According to data from General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, exports of ternary cathode materials from China totaled 7,447 tonnes in January 2026. This represents a month-on-month decrease of 4,042 tonnes, or 35.2%, but a year-on-year increase of 1,162 tonnes, or 18.5%.
In detail, exports of Lithium Nickel Cobalt Manganese Oxide (NCM type) stood at 5,881 tonnes, and that of Lithium Nickel Cobalt Aluminum Oxide (NCA type) reached 1,567 tonnes.
