GACC: China's Jan-Feb ferrous scrap imports jump 39% YoY

China's imports of ferrous scrap totalled 52,604 tonnes during January-February this year, significantly higher by 39.2% compared with the same period last year, according to the latest statistics from the country's General Administration of Customs (GACC).

Specifically, China imported 25,472 tonnes of ferrous scrap in January, and the volume climbed to 27,133 tonnes in February, GACC data showed.
