FLASH: Kanto Tetsugen scrap export price for June rises $1.7/t

The winning bid in Tuesday morning's auction for Japanese H2 grade ferrous scrap for export through Tokyo Bay during June crawled higher by Yen 273/tonne ($1.7/t) from last month's highest bid to reach Yen 54,602/t FAS, according to tender organizer the Kanto Tetsugen grouping of scrap dealers around Tokyo.

The increment was much smaller than last month's huge Yen 4,208/t jump for current month shipments, but created yet another all-time high, nonetheless.
