Recently, the environmental impact assessment for the lithium-ion battery recycling, crushing, and powder processing project of Shanxi Jinshenghua was announced for its first public disclosure.
The project is located in Zhangzi County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, with a total investment of Yuan 47 million. It is planned to construct three lithium battery powder crushing production lines. Upon completion, the project will achieve an annual output of 20,000 tonnes of graphite powder, copper particles, aluminum particles, and lithium cobalt oxide powder.
According to available information, the project constructor, Jinshenghua Environmental Technology (Shanxi) Co., Ltd., was established in 2025. Its business scope includes the recycling and cascade utilization of electric vehicle waste power batteries (excluding hazardous waste operations); renewable resource recycling (excluding scrap metals from production); scrap metal recycling; non-metallic waste and scrap processing; and renewable resource processing, among others.
