Power produced by China's Three Gorges Group rises 7% YoY in Q1

The China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), the country's largest hydropower producer, saw its total power output during this year's first quarter hit a record high, the company said recently.

CTG generated more than 107.4 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity in the January-March period, marking a 7% rise on year and exceeding its quarterly target by about 4.4 billion kWh.
