On the afternoon of April 10, the trial production kick-off meeting for Huainan Smoothway's 200,000-tonne-per-year lithium-ion battery electrolyte and supporting raw materials project was held, marking the project's transition from phased commissioning to the trial production stage.
The project achieved phased commissioning in 2025, with annual output value exceeding Yuan 20 million. In Q1 2026, the project produced over 2,200 tonnes, with an estimated output value of Yuan 50 million, achieving a strong start. Starting from the second quarter of this year, the company will continue to ramp up efforts, with a planned annual output of 30,000 to 40,000 tonnes and an estimated output value of Yuan 700 to 800 million.
It is understood that energy conservation and environmental protection acceptance for the 200,000-tonne-per-year lithium-ion battery electrolyte project are expected to be fully completed this month, laying a solid foundation for formal production.
