On April 20, at Huayou Cobalt's 2025 Annual and Q1 2026 Performance Results and Cash Dividend Briefing, the company's President, Chen Hongliang, stated that various companies with lithium resource projects in Zimbabwe have obtained the relevant approvals for lithium concentrate exports, and all are currently going through the necessary procedures.
Huayou Cobalt primarily produces two types of products in Zimbabwe, including lithium concentrate and lithium sulfate. Once the full export procedures are completed, the lead time to reach China will be approximately three months. The company's lithium carbonate raw material supply in Guangxi may face potential shortages, primarily due to logistics conditions, but this will not have a material impact.
