China's refined nickel imports reached 19,159.432 tonnes in March 2026, up 2,229 tonnes or 13.16% from the previous month, and up 10,829 tonnes or 129.98% year-on-year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) .
China's net refined nickel imports for the month stood at 16,875.234 tonnes, up 80.95% month-on-month but down 323.69% year-on-year. In the first quarter of 2026, the cumulative refined nickel imports totaled 58,156.666 tonnes, up 16,649 tonnes or 40.11% year-on-year.
