China's import volume of intermediate products of cobalt hydrometallurgical refining in March 2026 amounted to 1,690.080 tonnes (equivalent to 507.02 tonnes of cobalt, based on a 30% grade), representing a month-on-month decrease of 25.9% and a year-on-year decrease of 96.69%, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. The import value for the month was US$28.274717 million, with an average import price of US$16,729.81/tonne. In Q1, China's cumulative import volume of intermediate products of cobalt hydrometallurgical refining totaled 1,784.93 tonnes.
