China's Mar LNG heavy-duty truck sales surge 267.81%, hitting record high

The March sales of LNG-fueled heavy-duty truck in China reached an all-time high, as the widening price gap between oil and gas brought the economic advantage, and due to the release of seasonal demand.

In the first quarter of 2026, China's heavy-duty truck market showed a steady recovery, led by an outstanding performance from liquefied natural gas (LNG)-fueled heavy-duty trucks. In particular, the sales volume in March alone set a new historical record for the same period. China sold 51,700 sets of LNG-fueled heavy-duty
