Canada's coal output rises 11% YoY in February

Canada's production of all types of coal reached 2.99 million tonnes in February, up about 11% on year, Mysteel Global calculated based on the latest release from Statistics Canada. Compared with the previous month, February output was down by around 11% though.

Bituminous coal (including types used in steelmaking and power generation) accounted for 85% of February's total production, reaching 2.54 million tonnes.
