On May 12, Yutong and CATL signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation memorandum in Ningde City, Fujian Province. This collaboration will focus on four core strategic directions.
1. Joint Global Expansion: Leveraging more than 60 overseas countries and regions as key launching points, the two parties aim to create a model for Chinese automotive technology export and brand globalization, accelerating the implementation of the 'integrated vehicle-battery joint global expansion' strategy.
2. Full-Scenario Electrification for Commercial Vehicles: Centered around the three major scenarios of 'mobility, logistics, and operations,' the parties will build an integrated 'vehicle & battery' ecosystem to support the green transformation of the commercial vehicle industry.
3. Heavy-Duty Truck Battery Swapping Business: Both parties will jointly establish standards and an operating system for battery-swapping heavy-duty trucks, integrating CATL's swapping technology with Yutong's vehicle integration capabilities to create a new paradigm of 'vehicle-battery separation and ultra-fast energy replenishment.'
4. Co-Branding: Collaborating to build a leading brand matrix, adhering to a high-quality development strategy, and strengthening the golden brand image of Chinese enterprises.
