Recently, Sichuan Guocheng Lithium Industry Co., Ltd. announced that the first phase of its 200,000 tonnes per year basic lithium salt project, located in the Deyang-Aba Eco-Economic Industrial Park, completed trial feeding and commissioning in April 2026 and has now entered the production stage. The first phase of the project represents a total investment of approximately Yuan 2 billion and includes a production line for 60,000 tonnes per year of battery-grade lithium carbonate.
Leveraging the lithium spodumene resources of Guocheng Group's owned Ma'erkang Jinxin Mining, the project has established a closed-loop "mine-to-chemicals" integrated industrial chain, ensuring self-sufficiency and control over raw material supply. The project employs industry-leading lithium extraction technologies and utilizes a DCS intelligent automatic control system throughout the entire process.
Currently, the first-phase production line has successfully completed trial feeding and commissioning. The second phase plans to focus on high-end lithium salt products and expand product variety. The project brings together an industry-leading technical and management team, holds multiple patents, and implements standardized management across all processes.
