Last week, lithium battery scrap prices fluctuated at high levels, and market transactions remained moderate. During the week, the payables for multi-metal scrap remained stable, while quotations from hydrometallurgical plants were largely unchanged. Demand for cobalt-based scrap eased somewhat, and some downstream buyers resumed purchasing. However, as downstream consumption of cobalt salts has not yet shown a significant recovery, overall quotations stayed at previous levels, and holders showed weak willingness to sell. The prices of LFP scrap fluctuated significantly during the week, with overall market transaction volumes declining compared to the previous week. Hydrometallurgical plants made selective purchases at lower prices, while the volume of scrap released into the market remained relatively low.
