CISA: Members' crude steel output dips 4.5% YoY over Jan-Apr

Crude steel output among the member mills of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) totalled 271 million tonnes over the first four months this year for an on-year dip of 4.5%, according to the association's latest release published on May 20.
During April alone, the member mills produced 68.8 million tonnes of crude steel in total, declining by 2.9% on year, the CISA survey revealed.   In parallel, crude steel output among all steelmakers nationwide also retreated by 2.8% on year to 83.6 million tonnes in April, according to the National Bureau
