China's import volume of cobalt hydrometallurgical intermediates in April 2026 was 1,246.762 tonnes (equivalent to 374.03 tonnes of cobalt metal content based on 30% grade), representing a month-on-month decrease of 26.23% and a year-on-year decrease of 97.65%, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. The total import value for the month was USD $21.427476 million , with an average import price of USD $17,186.5/tonne.
For the period from January to April 2026, China's cumulative import volume of cobalt hydrometallurgical intermediates reached 2,158.96 tonnes.
