Taiwan CSC's carbon steel sales rise 4% in April

The total volume of carbon steel products sold by China Steel Corp (CSC), Taiwan's top integrated steel producer, rose in April to reach 695,654 tonnes, increasing for a second month by another 27,518 tonnes or 4.1% on month, according to the company's latest release on its website.
The result marked the Kaohsiung-based mill's highest monthly sales since June 2025, suggesting a steady recovery in demand from buyers during the traditional peak season for steel consumption in Taiwan's second quarter, Mysteel Global learned.   With the further improvement in carbon steel sales, CSC reported a pre-tax profit of TWD
