On May 22, SEMCORP announced that its board of directors had reviewed and approved the Proposal on Terminating the Investment in the Lithium Battery Separator Project in Malaysia, deciding to terminate the investment in the project. As previously disclosed, the company's holding subsidiary planned to establish a new subsidiary in Malaysia to invest in the construction of a lithium battery separator project, with a planned production capacity of approximately 1 billion square meters per year and a total estimated investment of approximately Yuan 2 billion.
