According to Mysteel statistics, Indonesia's refined nickel production reached 9,800 tonnes in May 2026, unchanged month-on-month but up 44.12% year-on-year. The cumulative production from January to May stood at 48,600 tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 89.11%. Current equipment capacity among Indonesian refined nickel producers is 10,000 tonnes, with capacity utilization at 98.00%.
Looking ahead, Indonesia's refined nickel production is estimated at 9,700 tonnes in June, down 1.02% month-on-month but up 18.29% year-on-year.
