Vietnam's Hoa Phat seeks co-exploitation of long-dormant Thach Khe iron ore mine

Hoa Phat Group, Vietnam's largest steelmaker, has submitted a proposal to the government seeking permission to restructure and develop the Thach Khe iron ore mine in the central Ha Tinh Province, potentially ending a 15-year suspension that has left Southeast Asia's largest iron ore deposit untapped, according to local media.
