Ferrexpo's iron ore output recovers in Q2, but H1 total remains weak

Ferrexpo, the Swiss-headquartered, London-listed iron ore producer with operations in Ukraine, recorded iron ore output of 963,409 tonnes in the second quarter of this year, marking a 63% surge from the previous quarter, according to the company's production report for Q2 2026 released last week.

The rebound was driven largely by a sharp recovery in the company's pellet production, which jumped 64% on quarter to 860,213 tonnes in Q2, while its output of concentrates also rose 52% to 103,196 tonnes, the report showed.
