The payables for cobalt-based scrap remained weakly stable, and due to the lack of a boost in electrolytic cobalt consumption, hydrometallurgical plants are currently in a phase of replenishing inventory at low prices. The price of LFP scrap trended weak over the week, with market transactions primarily concentrated on repaired cathode material sheets. The pace of black mass shipments was clearly constrained by lithium carbonate price dynamics.
