Taiwan's Feng Hsin cuts rebar, scrap prices by $9.5/t

Taiwan's largest rebar producer, Feng Hsin Steel, headquartered in Taichung in central Taiwan, has decided to trim its rebar list price and local scrap purchasing price for transactions over June 22-26, in response to lower global scrap prices and weak end-user demand, according to a company official.

For business discussions through this Friday, Feng Hsin is offering its 13mm-diameter rebar at TWD 18,100/t ($572/t) EXW, down TWD 300/t on week after holding prices steady in the previous week.
