Recently, the Quanzhou Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau officially issued its approval for the Environmental Impact Report of the Quanzhou Jintong Xuneng New Energy (Phase I) 30,000-tonne Lithium Battery New Materials Project.
The project is invested and constructed by Quanzhou Jintong Xuneng New Energy Co., Ltd., with a total investment of Yuan 1.5 billion. It is located in the Xianjing Area of the Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park. The main construction scope includes the addition of a 30,000-tonne lithium carbonate production unit, along with a lithium carbonate workshop, sodium sulfate workshop, purification workshop, leaching workshop, and supporting auxiliary and utility facilities. Upon completion, the project will have an annual production capacity of 30,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate and 94,752 tonnes of anhydrous sodium sulfate as a by-product.
