Recently, within the Lithium Battery Industrial Park of Shehong Economic Development Zone in Sichuan Province, Phase I trial production of the 100,000-tonne ferrous oxalate project of Sichuan Fuling New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. has been officially launched.
Phase I of the project occupies an area of approximately 100.04 mu (about 6.67 hectares), with a total investment of Yuan 560 million. The planned construction encompasses multiple individual facilities, including a ferrous sulfate unit, a synthesis workshop, wastewater treatment facilities, a power center, initial rainwater and emergency ponds, a control room, a tank farm, an iron powder warehouse, an oxalic acid warehouse, a slag storage area, and an integrated administration building. In addition, the phase is equipped with full-process process equipment covering iron leaching, impurity removal, ferrous oxalate synthesis, filtration, drying, and an MVR evaporation system, among others.
Upon completion and commissioning of Phase I, the industrial park will gain an additional annual production capacity of 100,000 tonnes of ferrous oxalate and create more than 500 new jobs. The project is expected to achieve an annual output value exceeding Yuan 500 million.
