On June 30, the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation framework agreement on Tianci Materials' 300,000-tonne-per-year lithium battery electrolyte project was held.
Separately, according to news from Hualu Group, its subsidiary Hualu Hengsheng signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Tianci Materials. Under the agreement, Hualu Hengsheng will leverage its own strengths to assist Tianci Materials in building a 300,000-tonne lithium battery electrolyte project within the Dezhou Yunhe Hengsheng Chemical Industrial Park.
Currently, Tianci Materials has an electrolyte production capacity of approximately 850,000 tonnes and is actively pursuing further capacity expansion.
On the domestic front, an additional 35,000 tonnes of new capacity is expected to commence production in H2 2026. The Chizhou project plans to expand its existing scale of 150,000 tonnes per year to 280,000 tonnes per year of liquid LiPF6.
On the overseas front, the construction projects primarily include those in Morocco and the United States, with planned annual capacities of 150,000 tonnes and 200,000 tonnes of electrolyte, respectively. Construction has commenced for both projects, and they are scheduled to be completed between the end of 2027 and the first half of 2028.
