On July 6, according to Yahua Group, its Zimbabwean subsidiary KMC is currently accelerating the development of a lithium sulfate deep-processing project at full speed. The project represents a total investment of approximately USD 200 million and encompasses a smelter and a sulfuric acid plant. It is designed with an annual processing capacity of 350,000 tonnes of lithium concentrate and an annual output of 75,000 tonnes of lithium sulfate, with operations planned to commence in 2027.
Concurrently, KMC is also advancing a tin-niobium-tantalum separation project to achieve comprehensive recovery of mineral resources.
