NEA: China's power use in June rises 3.7% YoY

China's power consumption continued to grow in June, up 3.7% on year to reach 898.1 billion kilowatt hours (kWh), though the pace slowed from the on-year rises of 6.9% in May and 6% in April, according to the latest data released by the National Energy Administration (NEA) on Wednesday.

For January-June, the country's total power consumption rose 5.3% on year to 5.1 trillion kWh, tracking within the 5-6% full-year growth range forecast by the China Electricity Council (CEC), Mysteel Global noted.
