China's unwrought cobalt import volume reached 1,120.108 tonnes in June 2026 (equivalent to 1117.87 tonnes of cobalt based on a 99.8% grade), representing a month-on-month increase of 66.43% and a year-on-year increase of 104.64%, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC). The import value for the month amounted to approximately US 58.501474 million, with an average import price of US 52,228.42/tonne. For H1 2026, cumulative unwrought cobalt imports totaled 7,708.95 tonnes.
