China's imports of cobalt hydrometallurgical intermediate products reached 10,960.945 tonnes in June 2026 (converted to 3,288.28 tonnes of cobalt, based on a 30% grade), representing a month-on-month increase of 324.12% but a year-on-year decrease of 42.28%, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC). The import value for the month amounted to US 179.23796 million, with an average import price of US 16,352.42/tonne. For H1 2026, cumulative imports of cobalt hydrometallurgical intermediate products totaled 6,222.56 tonnes.
