According to latest news on July 21, the 100MW/200MWh energy storage station project of Nanjing Xinxin Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. broke ground in the Lishui Development Zone.
The project, located in Lishui, represents a total investment of Yaun 250 million. It is planned to construct a 100MW/200MWh grid-side electrochemical energy storage station (grid-following type) , complete with a supporting 110kV step-up substation and a double-circuit overhead transmission line, ultimately connecting to the 220kV Honghua substation for grid integration and unified dispatch by the provincial power grid. The project is scheduled to achieve grid connection by the end of December this year.
The project will fully adopt Sunwoda's self-developed 588Ah large-capacity energy storage battery cells. These cells feature a cycle life of up to 10,000 times and a design service life exceeding 20 years, effectively meeting core grid dispatch requirements including peak shaving, peak loading, renewable energy integration, primary frequency regulation, and Automatic Generation Control (AGC).
