CHINT Green Energy and Octopus Energy have signed two strategic cooperation agreements (Memoranda of Cooperation). The two sides will collaborate in the development of renewable energy projects, with CHINT providing a full range of equipment, including photovoltaic (PV) modules and battery energy storage systems (BESS), as well as EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) services.
Concurrently, Chint Anneng and Octopus Energy have agreed to explore comprehensive cooperation in the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) sector within the Chinese market. The collaboration will focus on distributed energy resource aggregation, demand response, and intelligent energy management, as the companies jointly explore innovative business models to support the global green and low-carbon transition, as well as the digitalization of power systems.
