Baltic dry index snaps three-day rally

Imported Iron Ore Global Shipment
The Baltic Exchange's main sea freight index, a benchmark for global dry bulk shipping rates, snapped a three-session winning streak on Monday as rates retreated across all vessel segments.
On July 27, the overall index, which comprises rates for Capesize, Panamax and Supramax vessels, fell 47 points, or 1.7%, from the previous session to settle at 2,696 points. This marked the index's first decline since July 21, ending the modest rebound that had lifted the gauge to 2,743
