Vietnam initiates the first review of AD duties on Chinese HRC

Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has initiated the first review of anti-dumping (AD) measures imposed on certain hot-rolled steel products originating from China, according to an announcement issued by the ministry on July 27. The review is in response to a request from Baosteel Group to reassess its applicable duty rate of 27.83%, Mysteel Global notes.

The review period covers 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026. Although the duration of the review may be extended by up to three months, the final determination is expected to be issued within six months, says the decision. Interested parties are required to register their participation by October 21. The
