Last week, the payables for ternary black powder and cobalt-based black powder remained stable, with ternary electrode scrap powder holding around 77% and battery powder around 73%. For lithium cobalt oxide electrode scrap powder, the cobalt salt payables reached 78%, and for battery powder it was 75%. Market participants are awaiting demand recovery, while hydrometallurgical plants are purchasing strictly on an order-based basis.Prices continued to trend downward, yet holders of LFP (lithium iron phosphate) black powder were reluctant to sell, which kept the lithium-point prices somewhat firm. Feedstock prices for recycling remained firm as well. Meanwhile, some battery plants' cathode scrap bidding prices ranged from Yuan 31,600/tonne-31,800/tonne.
