Qingdao Haida Ruiyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has publicly disclosed its lithium battery anode material expansion project, with a total investment of Yuan 117 million. The project will be carried out through renovation and expansion, revitalizing existing plant resources.
The lithium battery anode material expansion project is located east of Liugezhuang Village, Tianzhu Town, Pingdu City, Qingdao, Shandong Province, covering a total land area of 14,777.5 square meters. The project does not involve large-scale new land acquisition. Instead, it adopts an intensive construction model that combines "renovation of existing workshops, utilization of workshops under construction, and leasing of external plants,"which significantly shortens the construction timeline and reduces infrastructure costs.
The production line will be equipped with specialized carbon production equipment, including mechanical mills, roller presses, large-scale reactors, and tunnel kilns.Using industrial raw materials such as petroleum coke, needle coke, calcined coke, and pitch, the facility will go through a series of deep-processing stages including granulation and high-temperature calcination to ultimately produce synthetic graphite anode materials for lithium batteries. Upon completion, the project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 80,000 tonnes of lithium battery anode materials.
