China's high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sector is set to undergo a profound supply-side realignment in the year. China's total new PE capacity for 2026 will stand at 6.30 million t/y, of which HDPE capacity will account for 3.55 million t/y, more than half of the total, according to data from
